Rice wins in close Game 1, Colden not able to watch

During the last inning with Texas A&M trailing Rice University in the College World Series Super Regionals, 7 to 9, Colden Samuel Price, Texas A&M Class of 2029, could not bear to watch the intensity. In an attempt to rally the Ags to a win, Colden removed his Texas Aggie shirt and threw it on the floor, but continued to avert his eyes from the television.

Colden was able to muster the courage to watch the last Aggie batter take the plate, but unfortunatlely the game ended on a pop fly that landed in the glove of a Rice Owl outfielder.

Colden was inconsolable after the loss.

Despite the loss, Colden Price was relieved to find out that the game was only game 1 of a best of 3 series.
